Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 30, 2026
Welcome to Pepper & Lily Boutique! These Terms and Conditions explain the policies that apply when you visit pepperandlily.com, place an order, submit artwork, or purchase a product or service from us.
By using our website or completing a purchase, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We encourage you to review them carefully before placing an order.
1. About Pepper & Lily Boutique
Pepper & Lily Boutique offers graphic apparel, gifts, accessories, custom-printed merchandise, personalized products, and other boutique items.
Throughout these Terms:
-
“Pepper & Lily,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Pepper & Lily Boutique.
-
“You” and “your” refer to our website visitors and customers.
-
“Custom products” include personalized merchandise, customer-submitted artwork, custom printing, custom embroidery, and products created to a customer’s specifications.
-
“Made-to-order products” are standard Pepper & Lily products produced after an order is placed, even when the customer does not provide personalized information.
2. Website Use
You may use our website for lawful personal or business purposes. You agree not to:
-
Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
-
Interfere with the security or operation of the website.
-
Submit false information or use an unauthorized payment method.
-
Copy, resell, reproduce, or misuse our branding, graphics, photographs, product descriptions, or website content.
-
Upload artwork or content that violates another person’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
We may restrict access, decline an order, or cancel an order when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
3. Product Information
We work carefully to provide clear and accurate product descriptions, measurements, color options, photographs, and size information. However, customers should review all product details and available size charts before ordering.
Product colors may appear slightly different depending on:
-
Screen or device settings.
-
Lighting conditions.
-
Fabric type or material.
-
The selected garment color.
-
Printing or embroidery methods.
-
Normal differences between production batches.
For embroidered products, colors outside the basic thread-color spectrum may be matched to the closest available shade. A reasonable color shift should be expected when an exact thread match is unavailable. Should a shift be needed, we will communicate that to you and offer available options for your approval.
Minor differences in print placement, embroidery, texture, color, sizing, or finish may naturally occur with individually produced products. These normal variations do not necessarily indicate that an item is defective.
4. Order Review and Acceptance
Before submitting an order, please confirm that all selected products, quantities, sizes, colors, shipping details, and customization information are correct.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
-
The information provided is complete and accurate.
-
You are authorized to use the selected payment method.
-
You have reviewed the applicable product description and policies.
-
You agree to pay the displayed total, including applicable taxes and shipping charges.
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that we received your order but does not guarantee final acceptance.
We may decline or cancel an order because of product unavailability, payment issues, suspected fraud, pricing errors, artwork concerns, incomplete information, or other reasonable business considerations. If we cancel an order after payment has been received, an appropriate refund will be issued.
5. Standard, Made-to-Order, and Custom Products
Standard in-stock products
Standard, non-custom products that are already in stock and do not require additional production are generally expected to arrive within approximately seven business days within the United States.
This is an estimated timeframe rather than a guaranteed delivery date. The product listing or checkout information may provide a different estimate when applicable.
Made-to-order products
Many Pepper & Lily products, including graphic shirts, are made after an order is placed.
Please allow approximately one to two weeks for production and fulfillment before your order ships. We appreciate your patience while your item is carefully prepared. In many cases, your actual turnaround time will be much shorter.
Shipping time begins after production and fulfillment are complete.
Custom and personalized products
Turnaround time for custom orders begins only after we have received:
-
All required customer information.
-
Usable artwork or design instructions.
-
Payment of the applicable invoice.
-
Approval of any required proof.
-
Timely responses to questions necessary to complete the order.
Delays in artwork submission, proof approval, customer communication, requested changes, or invoice payment will extend the estimated completion date.
Larger orders or orders requiring additional stock may need approximately one to two additional business days, although more time may be required depending on product availability and order complexity. We will communicate material changes to the expected schedule whenever reasonably possible.
6. Proofs and Custom-Order Approval
When a proof is provided, the customer is responsible for carefully reviewing:
-
Names and spelling.
-
Dates and numbers.
-
Wording and punctuation.
-
Sizes and quantities.
-
Colors.
-
Design placement.
-
Artwork and layout.
-
Other customization details.
Approval of a proof authorizes Pepper & Lily to begin production.
Pepper & Lily is not responsible for errors that appear in customer-provided information or in a proof approved by the customer. Changes requested after approval may not be possible and may require additional fees or production time.
7. Customer Artwork and Permissions
By submitting artwork, logos, photographs, names, wording, or other content, you confirm that:
-
You own the content or have permission to use and reproduce it.
-
The content does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
-
The content is not unlawful, threatening, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
You grant Pepper & Lily a limited right to use the submitted materials solely as needed to prepare, produce, fulfill, and support your order.
We may decline content or custom-order requests that we reasonably believe violate these Terms or another party’s rights.
8. Pricing, Payments, and Promotions
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. A later price change will not affect an accepted order unless a clear pricing or technical error occurred.
Sales and promotional offers:
-
Apply only during the stated promotional period.
-
May require a specific product or quantity.
-
Cannot be combined unless expressly stated.
-
Have no cash value.
-
May exclude certain products.
-
May be modified or discontinued as permitted by law.
If items from a quantity-based promotional order are returned, the remaining items may no longer qualify for the original discount. Any approved refund may be adjusted to reflect the terms of the promotion.
Custom orders may require an invoice, deposit, or full payment before artwork preparation or production begins. Work will not begin until the required payment and information have been received.
9. Fulfillment, Shipping, and Delivery
Production time and carrier transit time are separate.
Delivery estimates may be affected by:
-
The customer’s location.
-
Local or regional postal operations.
-
Carrier processing delays.
-
Delays in receiving stock or production materials.
-
Weather or natural disasters.
-
Labor strikes.
-
Government shutdowns.
-
Transportation interruptions.
-
Holidays or unusually high order volume.
-
Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
When we must order additional inventory, carrier delays in delivering that inventory to Pepper & Lily may extend production time. We will take those delays into consideration and communicate significant changes whenever reasonably possible.
If Pepper & Lily cannot fulfill an order for more than 30 days after receiving all required information, approvals, and payments, we will issue a full refund unless the customer agrees to a revised completion date.
The 30-day period does not include time during which we are waiting for customer information, proof approval, invoice payment, requested decisions, or other items required to proceed.
10. Carrier Delays and Tracking
Once an order leaves our possession, tracking information will identify the responsible carrier.
For delays occurring after shipment, customers should first contact the local mail carrier or the customer-service department of the carrier shown in the tracking information. Carriers are best positioned to provide current information about a package already within their network.
Pepper & Lily will provide reasonable assistance, available tracking information, or shipment documentation when needed. However, we cannot control carrier operations, weather, strikes, government shutdowns, routing interruptions, or similar events after a package has been accepted by the carrier.
This section does not limit any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.
Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address. Additional shipping charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address may be the customer’s responsibility.
11. Returns and Exchanges for Non-Custom Products
We want you to feel wonderful about your Pepper & Lily purchase. If an eligible non-custom product is not quite right, please contact us promptly so we can help.
To qualify for a full refund, a returned product must be:
-
Unworn.
-
Unwashed.
-
Unused.
-
Unaltered.
-
Free of stains, odors, pet hair, or other signs of use.
-
Returned with any original packaging or tags intact.
Because our products are frequently made to order, exchanges are available for the same design only. Customers may select a different eligible size or color, subject to availability.
An exchange cannot be applied toward a different design, product, or customized item.
Items that have been worn, washed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
Please contact us before mailing a return. Products returned without authorization or return instructions may not be accepted.
12. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Non-Custom Products
If a standard or made-to-order product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible.
Include:
-
Your order number.
-
A description of the issue.
-
Clear photographs of the product.
-
Photographs of the packaging when relevant.
We will review the information and work with you toward an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement, correction, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.
The product should remain unworn, unwashed, unused, and unaltered while the request is reviewed.
13. Returns and Exchanges for Custom Products
Customized and personalized products are created specifically for the customer and are considered final sale.
Custom products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded because of:
-
A change of mind.
-
An incorrect sizing selection.
-
A spelling error submitted by the customer.
-
Incorrect or incomplete information provided at checkout.
-
Dissatisfaction with an approved design.
-
Normal color or placement variations.
-
A delay caused by the customer’s failure to provide information, payment, communication, or approval.
Please carefully review all names, dates, wording, colors, sizes, artwork, and other customization details before submitting or approving an order.
14. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Custom Products
If a custom product arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the customization details submitted or approved, please email orders@pepperandlily.com within seven days of delivery.
Include:
-
Your order number.
-
A description of the issue.
-
Clear photographs of the product.
-
Clear photographs of the packaging when relevant.
After reviewing the request, we may offer a replacement, correction, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.
The product must remain unworn, unwashed, unused, unaltered, and in its original condition while the request is reviewed. Please do not return a product without receiving return instructions from us first.
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless the product was damaged, defective, or produced incorrectly.
15. Cancellations and Changes
Standard and made-to-order products
Order changes and cancellations are not guaranteed once processing or production has begun. Please contact us promptly if you need assistance.
Custom products
Customization orders may only be canceled or changed before artwork preparation or production begins.
Once artwork preparation, proof development, material preparation, printing, embroidery, or production has started, the order cannot be canceled or changed.
Charges for work already completed may be nonrefundable.
16. Intellectual Property
The Pepper & Lily name, logos, branding, website content, original designs, product photography, promotional materials, and other creative materials belong to Pepper & Lily or their respective licensors.
Nothing on our website grants permission to copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially use these materials without written authorization.
Third-party trademarks, artwork, and product names remain the property of their respective owners.
17. Privacy
Your use of our website is also subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you acknowledge that information may be collected, used, and processed as explained in that policy.
18. Third-Party Services
Pepper & Lily may use third-party providers for website hosting, payment processing, production, shipping, analytics, and other business operations.
Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Pepper & Lily is not responsible for an external website or service that we do not own or control.
19. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our website is provided on an “as available” basis. We cannot guarantee that the website will always operate without interruptions or technical errors.
Products remain subject to their written descriptions and any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pepper & Lily will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or purchase of a product.
If Pepper & Lily is found liable for a claim relating to an order, our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit such a limitation.
21. Customer Responsibility and Indemnification
Customers are responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from:
-
Unlawful use of the website.
-
Violation of these Terms.
-
False ownership or authorization claims.
-
Submitted artwork or content that infringes another person’s rights.
This section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by a court with appropriate jurisdiction in Tennessee unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, services, policies, or legal obligations.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Changes will apply prospectively and will not alter previously accepted orders unless required by law or agreed to by the customer.

We believe customer care should continue after checkout. If you have a question or concern, please give us the opportunity to help.
